Better late then never. I had these mods done about 3 weeks ago but been lazy and haven't worked out all the bugs yet but since so many people are posting their work I might as well show off my bike as well. Tell me what you think.
All lighting retrofits and audi led installs are complement of the infamous Brian (HIGHVOLTAGE RR). Great guy, great service, and excellent quality products. He kept me informed every step of the way, the following are pics he took while doing my project. I'll take some installed pics and videos tonight.
Thanks to Tristan (Tripage) for all the great powder coating work, third eye and also helping with the signal wiring.
And also the other Brian (BrowningBuck) for the wonderful gauge.
Headlights arrived and Brian disassembled them and shot me pics of all the parts that arrived
I bought the thin LED ribbons from Oznium.com because they're more spread apart and low profile. I didn't like the huge rubber strip everyones been using. Taped off the LED's and painted them black
Brian noticed the LED's were 2 led's too long. Since these were wired up in series of 3 we can't just cut off the extra 2 so he came up with this
Led's lit up.
Brian started working on the Audi LED's first and got one side on with some 3m molding tape and also some filler due to the uneven surface of the housing. Due to the strip wanting to flex back to its original shape the left side snapped and the corner.
bought a new strip and sent it to him and he took care of the painting and soldering of the wires
