2006 stock gearing

ive searched and im fed up with this stupid search on vb bulletin, i just want to know what the stock gearing is. i went and looked at my gears and my afram has 15t stamped into it and my stock has 43 stamped in.

im -1 in the front, which i think is 15t

so i believe

stock is 16t front and 43 t rear

is that correct?

im about to order a 520 driven kit from motomummy

15f 43r would give me the same set up i have now just a 520 correct? im extremely happy with what i have now but id like to have a 520 gold chain and black rear sprocket. thanks for the help i know this answer has been answered a 1000 times, i just for life of me cannot find it. if you do find it using the search can you post your search terms please?

16/43 is stock. and yes, you are correct. To keep what you currently have just get 15f 43r in the 520 kit. I got mine from motomummy a few months ago and it is 15/45, large difference.

yeah my gsx-r is -1 in the front +2 in the back im not a huge fan, but that bike has more torque than ours.

I went with the Driven kit and got the EK chain. I think I caught it on sale. The EK chain that comes with the kit has gold pins and inner links. The RK chain with the kit does not. I'm sure some people would hate the gold.

im trying the ek mvxz in gold because i hear its extremely strong and it looks to match the gold on my forks and rear shock reservoir the best. its all about the subtle things.
