I dont have a problem getting the power out of my RR. When I nail it I am gone thats all there is to it.

 

yea it has plenty of power, you must be in too high a gear to pass people

 

with a passenger yes!!! but with my 147lbs... i FLY!!! dont be skerd. twist it!

 

Try down shifting. Then go for the pass.

 

pinning the throttle in 6th gear isnt going to help

 

I aight skerd, but the bike feels sluggish. My opinion.

 

Aight i'll down shift, but the Yoshi is freaking loud. I would hate it to get pulled over by the popo for the noise.

Yeah, agree with the others. If I try to pass a car going 65 in 6th...yeah, its gonna be a little slow... in 4th....hang on.

 

i think it might be his first. IMO... down **** and get up in the 9-10 rpm ... then mash it. u will be alright. as everyone else said... 6th gear is for top speed only. not for power.

Only a liter will accelerate well in top gear. Otherwise you will need to downshift on all 600's

yeah seriously i'm thinking R1. that bike looks freaking sweet.

 

many factors come into play..

how much of a fat ass you are
number of stickers on the fairings
weight of ur gear ( flip flops shorts and tank top are idea or cutting weight)


if that doesnt help

downshift
pop clutch at high RPMS
use the super cool clinicaly proven synthetic made SPECIFICALLY for Motorcycles

 

I'm pretty fat, but a gentleman never reavels his age or weight. FRESH!!
No stickers, yet.
Just Helmet, gloves if it's cold.

Downshifting is an option, but the noise is a factor.
Poping clutch is new to me. maybe in another 600 miles.
I'm thinking motor oil. I can not justify 18 dollars a quart.

 

Gesus.. try smashing the throttle in first gear.. you'll notice at redline you'll be going around 80.. continue the process and continue through second gears redline.. (avoid killing yourself if possible) Report back if it was fast or slow..

Even better, just leave it in first. You'll be getting like 10 miles to the gallon but who cares, there's an endless supply of that stuff!
