Hey fellas i'm not sure if this is in the right place; but i am trying to remove the front axle but am running into trouble. The bolt is strangely tight even though i have removed all the pinch bolts. Anyone have a similar experience with this? I just want to make sure im not doing something completely wrong before i take a impact driver to it i just want to make sure i'm not doing anything wrong.

it has never been this difficult on any other bike i have owned....

The bolt has the typical clockwise thread (Turn right to tighten and left to loosen). The pinch bolts on the other end of the axle should be kept tight so that you can loosen the axle bolt. After the axle bolt has been loosened you can undo the pinch bolts. You do not need to remove the pinch bolts, just make sure that they are loose. To get the axle out, put the axle bolt back into the axle at least a few turns and gently tap with a soft (or rubber) hammer. If you think you will damage the threads you can always use a socket and an extension to push on the outside edge of the axle.
