I can think of a few big items... Full Exhaust System will drop a few pounds. 10 or more I think. Some new wheels will drop a few very good pounds..... Un-sprung weight I think they call it.

That's where you are going to loose the most.

Hit up Disco for parts.. Link located below.

Is it a "track" only bike? If it is, I have some first-hand experience for you. I just converted my 07 600RR into a track bike, and here is what I did:

remove bodywork
remove headlights
remove radiator fan
remove horn
remove passanger rearsets
remove light/horn controls
remove kickstand
remove no needed wiring
remove rear fender
remove chain guard/mud flap
remove exhaust shield
remove front sproket guard
remove levers
remove rearsets

add Sharkskinz bodywork
add Puig windscreen
add CRG short levers
add Gilles rearsets

This is just a start...if you are making a trackbike. Good luck!

ratio would be the answer there wouldnt it..

full exhaust.. carbon replacement parts like tank cover hugger... convert to a one headlight machine, everything you need to replace costs so be prepared to burn thru the cash!

You need to lose as much rotating weight as possible so start with wheels, chain, sprokets, etc..
