Motofansclub CNC Shorty Levers Review

So, I paid shipping insurance for my fairings and my tank came with a tab snapped off. I sent pictures of the damage to motofans, and they told me to glue the tab back on. I was a little ticked off, considering the fact that I paid extra for shipping insurance. Once I mentioned this, and they verified that I had, they took the necessary steps to compensate me for my damages.

They didn't give me a refund. Instead, they let me choose any set of levers they offer. I didn't want the fold up onces, well...just cause. The stand ones are a little too long for me, so I went with the shorty levers. Got them in gold to accent the bike

Wanted to take a quick second to snap some pictures of the levers and show you their overall quality. So far so good!! I'm no level connoisseur, and these are no ASV's, but for Free.99 I can't complain! Gorilla glue'd the tab into place, and it is concealed under my seat so no one see's it. They sent me a tank protector because they forgot to include it in my kit, but I have a ProGrip tank protector installed, so this will make a nice back up. Everything worked out very smoothly and shipping was pretty quick, took 2 weeks to show up.

A big THANK YOU to Motofansclub for their customer service and willingness to make everything right. The shipping insurance was well worth it.

EDIT: After taking a second look, and getting a second opinion from Dot Net members, I have realized these are NOT shorties. Damnit.... lol

Yeah dude I noticed that! I am going to get new tires this week and will take them down to the shop with me to have the tech throw them on while he is at it, get them installed for free

I am sure their will be a crap load of play just like the 2wheel ones do, but I went and checked my OEM ones and they have a lot of play as well (on the clutch side at least) and I didn't even notice it so I'm sure it will be fine.

I'll post some pictures once I get them installed! Just wanted to get the initial review up asap so everyone could take a look!

just watched this video for some tips on how to install them if I get antsy and decide to do it myself tonight

I noticed you need a plunger barrel that isn't provided in the kit. As well as the brake light bolts. Does anyone want to comment on how they handled these adjustments?

Or is the install more straight up, just like this?

I dont think that applies to the 03-06 bikes since the front brake setup is different.

When I got mine It was pull the old ones off, throw the new ones on. No adding/removing screws/parts, other than just tightening the bolts on the levers a bit.

Im pretty sure the levers from the2wheels.com and the ones you got are exactly the same prob made by the same people. The tool marks look identical.

I think that is for the newer Cbr I got my jpr levers pretty much the same as those and all I did was grease them up and put them on clutch I didn't get at first but watched a video and saw you need to flip them very simple to do!

Not shortys, and try to compare them to pazzos if you can, I got the same as yours and after comparing to my friends pazzos we concluded its the same exact lever except he paid $200 for his and I got mine for $39, haha.

Sent while sitting on the crapper.

HAHA! Thanx for your 2cents boys! Just checked my e-mails and saw they had sent me 2 different tracking numbers. And 2 different packages. Maybe they realized they made a mistake and sent me 2 different levers?? The other sent got sent to my school address and this set got sent to my summer home address. I will keep you guys posted! Maybe I have a set of standard length and shorties! LOL

Well thats even cooler that they realized the mistake and just sent you some new ones.

With my luck, I am thinking it might be the same levers they shipped out twice! I will keep you posted for sure, update coming in a few days I'm gunna call my school's post office and tell them to forward my package
