So I can't make sense of this chart in the service manual. It's the only chart I've seen where the two viscosities occupy the same "arrow" how does one tell where one oil begins and other ends? To continue, if I assume the oil viscosity split is half way between the text of the two, then EVERYONE WOULD PROBABLY BE USING 10W40, especially since that would mean anything warmer than 55F warrants the thicker oil: NO BODY WOULD BE USING 10W30.
