I just want everyone to know to steer clear of this shop. It has been the absolute worst buying experience I've ever had. First they misquote the price of the bike, then they mail my title to the wrong address, then I try to exchange a helmet I got with the bike because it doesn't fit properly, and they refuse me! I will NEVER do any business with them again, and I urge any of you who may be customers or potential customers to STAY AWAY FROM PROCYCLE.

i have to agree with you - the prices are pretty cheap, but be ready to spend the entire day there! there is a shortage of staff and a number of unhappy customers wandering around waiting for help. after an hour or so, i couldnt help but think to myself - whether i get p-o'ed or not, i'm leaving here with a new bike and tomorrow it wont matter! thats what got me through the experience.

I now live in E. TN, but from 2003 until mid year 2006 I sold motorcycles in IL (Alton) just across the river from the St. Louis area. Procycle had a horrible reputation even way back then when you made your first post about them in 2004. The Missouri Attorney General brought charges against them back in late 2005 or 2006 as I recall, for the ever popular.........bait and switch thing. You could call them up and ask for a price on a bike and they would quote a price over the phone. Then when you asked the salesman if there were any freight, setup, or doc charges HE would say.......I don't charge for any of those things. So, you pack up the family van and take the kids with you for a road trip and a fun day while daddy buys a new motorcycle. Once you arrive at the store and start the process of purchasing the bike, the salesman would tell you that he mis-quoted the price and it was going to be $XXX higher than what you thought you were buying the bike for. If you fought with them hard enough, they might reduce the price back down to the original quoted price. Next step was the F and I office where you were going to get the final paper work done......right? F and I would then add on the freight charge, setup charge and anything else that they thought they could get away with.......including extended warranty....whether you wanted it or not. When you stated that the salesman said that there was no freight, setup and doc fees, they would tell you that HE didn't charge them........THEY did in the business office. I had several customers come in and tell me that story.....and the funny thing was.....it was almost the exact same story every single time that you heard it. They were relieved to find an honest dealer selling a bike at a great price at our store. So it's good to hear that the dealership is finally getting what they deserve...........walking papers!!!
