the shift rod i had on mine was from another rearset and not from the gilles thats why i did not send the gear shift rod from mine.

that is all you would have needed to be done and like i said in the other thread the rider discount post with parts on the table were the full setup if you are using it on 09 10 rr

This is what it looks like off the bike notice ball joints are still intact and the allen and 10mm is all that was removed...I give up

The reason mine is different it is still the stock shift rod

with a part number 7 heim rod end at the bottom for install

people think that the stock shifter can't be removed from the rod end but it can you just have to unscrew the bottom heim rod end with the stock shifter attached..

do you follow me? if not lmk i can explain further for others that might need to do it in the future
