Tire Pressure Recommendations for Pilot Power 2CT

for solo riding i run 36/36 for the street.

trackdays i run 31/29 or 30/28 but lately i'm getting better results with 30/28.

tried 32/32 recently during my trackday at the new racetrack CIS, i didn't feel any noticeable decrease in grip when i was running 30/28, in fact i'm wearing much closer to the edge now than i did with 30/28 so i guess the higher tire pressures is holding up the sidewall for the profile to work.

i'm going to keep it at 32/32 for the meantime & set up the suspension around it. i have now developed some scallops at the trailing edge of the tires so i guess i need to fiddle with the rebound damping a bit more.

i had another chance to take it to the track this morning & after setting up the suspension yesterday for the proper sag & rebound/compression adjustments the 32/32 feels great! i have only experienced a few minor slips here & there but it feels planted thanks to the well tuned suspension, the scallops that formed the trackday before is starting to flatten out after i added 2 clicks harder on rebound.

wear is pretty good as even with a fast intermediate pace the tires didn't tear or develop lots of debris which is good bcoz i want a longer lasting tire while still maintaning high levels of grip.

before i was a skeptic of running higher pressures for the track but thanks to those who posted their experiences with higher pressures now i am a believer after 2 trackdays of testing & tuning.
