I just got a 2010 cbr600 3 days ago and I'm not even sure how but I have a scratch on the swing arm where it took off a spot of the paint.... It bothered me so much I quickly just threw some damn plasti dip on it for now. But I'm thinking nail polish will do? Whats your guys thoughts? My ocd self almost wants to take off the swing arm and get it powdercoated.

Agreed with tary preisser..if you ride a bike it will get scratched from some where..swingarm and lower fairings are the most affected ones..I covered mine with plastic dip too and I dont even notice them..only way to prevent those is keep the bike in the garage covered or in a glass cage up on a motorcycle lift.

It's hard to accept but this holds true for just about everything...doesn't mean to stop caring about stuff, just accept that stuff happens all the time.

But if the aluminium is exposed it will begin to corrode unless it's fixed right; in this case that means having the powdercoating repaired...then get some rear axle sliders on and you probably won't have to deal with this again.
