I like how they (almost) got it right on the graffiti with the subframe, passenger pegs and rearsets. Just not sure why they left a small portion of the two latter items silver, or why they didn't PC the levers either...

P.S. The red is the only color that is better than one of the colors offered last year (i.e. the '07 red). I think the orange looks Gixxer-ish, the silver looks washed out and dated, and the graffiti was a nice try, but seems a bit rice.

My thoughts, exactly. Some day they'll clue in and get it right.

 

Personally like the graffiti, something different and away from the norm.

the graffiti is pretty hot and i love the red one and also the orange one to so hard to choose -- if i had these choice wheni was at the dealership i would probably still be there trying to decide

the red/black 08 looks the best imo. red lowers and black mids make it much better than the 07. graffiti would be my 2nd choice, then orange, then the plain old silver. too bad they got rid of the blue/silver and the white. i guess they figured too many people have the white 07 already!

glad they got rid of the white for 08. hope it makes my 07 more desirable when it comes time to sell.

if i were gonna buy the 08 though i would go red/black. IMO it looks way better than the 07 version.

 

Side Note: the Graffiti is NOT called "Black Graffiti"- nor is it even black. It's gunmetal gray (see 2007 R1 & R6's, it's basically the same color but with less flake in the paint).

damn...i just bought a red black. i like the 08 better...but i'm not complaining!! i'm sure we can swap in the future or just paint em if i really want to.

i like the dark grey on the Graffiti - i think the color of the akrapovic carbon fiber components would look amazing with it.

the red/black is a close second, a black subframe would look amazing on it. i'd be equally happy with either of them.:cruising:

 

graffiti makes me want to buy a new bike. i love my 04 though. Damn!
