How do you use it exacly ?

 

Use Rain-X. I use it on all three of my helmets.

 

On the inside? Outside? both? I've been tempted to use that on the outside... but never thought about using it to prevent fog, didn't realize that it was effective at deterring fog.

Arai, shoei, and some other manufacturers make a faceshield for racing that wont fog up. Look up "pin lock" inserts. Trust me, they work.

 

I last used Plexus.... what? It says anti-fog on the can. So far its worked pretty well but I haven't been riding at night when fog is a problem, so no real help here. Has great optical clarity though, did my truck windshield as well.

I took my MSF course when it was pouring rain and had a tough time with my KBC modular helmet fogging. The instructor told me to leave my face shield cracked it was so bad, but I don't think thats the best thing to do when riding on the street. I definitely need some of the stuff mentioned. Thanks

I use the anti fog spray people use on their itech facemasks in Hockey. I play hockey and had some so I tried it and it works great you need to respray about once a week if you ride alot but it works well.

Try wiping your visor down with dish detergent. Let the detergent dry and buff it with a dry cloth.

i bought a quality Suomy helment that ive tried very hard that just WONT fog up where my wifes RF1000 isnt even visable out of under the exact same conditions.... good job suomy, looks like i need some of this cat crap ;~

 

how about shaving cream? Anyone tried it on the helmet ? i use it on my bathroom mirror, works well in heavy steam.
