LOL...I honestly Find this funny that it friggin Exploded...that's just my humor. Yes I lost all my shat....only had time to get my ass out. By the time I pulled to the side of the road the flames were already inside the main cab with me. I had to crawl out the passenger side because the driver door was melting..err fusing together with the rest of the car. Needless to say my ass was shaken up.

That Day it was a record high of 113F my car gave no warning. From what I can tell one of the cylinders blew up/cracked/crumbled something and got trapped within the engine. I have pics of ...what I think are pieces of the cylinder that shot out of my car.

O and it was a 1995 Toyota Celica GT Convertible, that I took VERY GOOD care of. I did constant maintanance on that thing and used Royal Purple Full Synthetic oil...that **** is expensive. What my friends and I figure is that I push that thing to the LIMITS all the time and that it finnally said "SCREW YOU ******* I'M F**KING DONE....BOOM."

I was planning on selling that car sometime in the winter anyways and buying a pickup truck. I want to get another Motorcycle and convert it to a Track only Bike so I'll need something to transport it. Still it sucks because I lost about 350 CD's and I know my insurance company isn't going to believe my ass when I tell them that $5,000 worth of CD's were in the car.

My insurance company moved the car to a Salvage yard and I'm going to visit it this weekend probably and take some better pics...Cops really wouldn't let me close to it so I had to take pics from afar.

Ok, I thought it looked funny.

Anyways, I would still sue Toyota. I'm pretty sure cars arent supposed to blow up like that.

well those are rod peices so if i punched a hole in the block and oil got on the exhaust 113 degree day it would go up in flames like that.

glad your ok!

he could sue toyota but the car is older and it was a mechanical failure all the testing in the world couldnt tell you that it was gonna catch on fire like that.

like i said it prolly punched a hole in the block and hot oil got on the hot exhaust manifold on a very hot day and it just exploded.
