This might be a noob question, but what is the proper way to check clutch freeplay with a set of adjustable levers like Pazzos?

I'm not sure the specs in the manual apply to the Pazzo's (I guess that's why you are asking the question), but basically, you can just look at what's going on when you adjust them to get it to the right setting:
Clutch free play has two components.
1. Play between the lever itself and the cable. You want there to be just a tiny, but definite, amount of free play so the lever is not pulling on the cable when at rest.
2. The slack in the cable. You want to make sure the cable is not pulling on the clutch actuator arm when at rest.
The two work hand in hand as you adjust the tension...just watch it as you turn the adjuste. The bottom line is that you want the cable to have no tension on it from either end, but get the full engagement when the lever is pulled in.
Hope that helps.
