It is in case the cops are chasing you if you were running then you could flip your plate up not to be seen... Not that I ever intend on using it, just nice to have in case...

Well looking at how just the top parts sticks down so far and if you had your plate down I would say it would be unsafe to ride with the plate down. You would have to keep it up jsut to ride.

what would high speeds wind drag do to the stowed plate?

would be foolish to run from cops only to have plate rip off from the wind, slice through the cop car windshield, and decapitate the police dog in the passenger seat.

 

It is safe to ride with the plate down and there is no chance of it coming off.....

Hmm...I don't understand all the negative feedback...The guy is just showing off his new mod, just like any other person.

Post some different angles...it still looks better than stock, that's for sure.

 

I think that is an awesome idea!! But when you flip your plate down, won't the cops be able to track you down through your purchase of the FE through Fastags?.....just a thought.

I think that is kinda cool, i would get it if they could make the flip switch to fit my Mad Doc Fend Elim.

 

I didnt know they still made those. They used to sell em on the starboyz website a while back....

Um...you could save yourself the $150 for the fasttag thing and save yourself a major headache by not attempting to run from the cops.
