I Don't know why this is such a big question by so many people
but here it is .If anyone wants to disagree lets open it up now
I have been trained by the US NAVY to fix radars and gun weapon systems , i know electronics let see what you guys think

P.S. Don't make fun of my picture

when you post a message in caps members tend to believe you are pissed
at some one or something .

I guess you might be simply becuse wiring resistors
is so easy for you others might not have the knowledge so the question is repeatedly

asked and asked and asked .
Which is getting to you thanks for the quick wiring lesson
hopefully this will make that wiring inquiry disappear for good

Yeah, letters tend to blend in a lot too. If it's more than line or two it gets hard to read.

i have seen so many people hunting around for this info with a picture. but there hasn't been a thread for them to get good info so just trying to help the cause. not screaming just too retarded to type.

no worries man your quest is noble and that is what counts
thanks again :icon_salu

Just Kidding Do The Same Thing On The Other Side Only The Color Will Change But The Solid/ Striped Rule Will Still Apply.

my question is where does the striped blue wire go? it looks like it stops, and goes to nothing. do you just hook both the blues to the positive lead on the resistor/ flushie? (basically you hook up the running light wire, and the turn signal wire together, and wire the resistor in parallel? also, what is the rating on this resistor? how many ohms, tolerance, etc.

as the picture shows the striped wire is for the runing light. so if you would like to use your flushmounts as running lights then hook that up to the red wire (which by the way looks cool). but if you are using your flushmount as a signal than connect the solid wire to the red wire and CAP off the striped wire as to not ground it out. do not try to use it for both as it will not work(tried that sorry looking for a solution) and for the rating on the resistor try a 20 ohm resistor from radio shack. if it is still a solid light or flashing too fast for your taste then go to a 25ohm and so on. and try to get one that is allready sealed from the elements so that way you don't have to shrink wrap it your self.

So will this make blinkers flash that wont flash now?

If your asking if installing resistors will make you signals slow down than yes. If you intalled LED's in place of your stock incandesant light bulb and they won't blink at all(stuck on when activated) then this will also fix that (as long as you don't have a blown flasher relay).

Cool thanks..So basicly what i am seeing here (GREAT picture by the way) is you connect the resistors between the possitive and negitive wires?

lilguns, I am in the process of installing a competition werkes FE(standard signals) and watsens (led signals) front signals....Do you know if I will need the resistors? I don't mind a fast blink rate but if they are going to "stay on" then I want to go ahead and install the resistor at the begining.

just a little trick for you.the best way to find out if you will need them is to remove your front signals and try to turn on your blinkers. if they speed up and you like it or can deal with it then you don't have to do anything but install your watsens. but if you remove them and they stay on solid you will need to add the resistors. good luck
