Did any of you notice that there's only a very tiny difference in sizing between the medium & large? I went to try a few on this afternoon, and the medium was really snug, just a tiny bit too much, and the chin bar was a little closer to my face than I wanted, but not that big of a deal. I almost didn't even bother trying on a large, thinking the medium would fit well and with a little time, it'd break in and not be as snug. Then I tried on the large, and the lining fit perfectly, and the chin bar was just a little futher away.

I was expecting the difference between the two to be a lot bigger than it was. How much does the padding in these helmets break in? With such an expensive investment, I don't want to get the medium and have it always be that little bit too small, nor do I want to get the large, and have it eventually become too big.

I noticed that some of the padding was removable, does Suomy do the same as Arai or Shoei (I forget which), in that they've only got one or two sizes for the shells, and the actual sizing is done with the liner & interior padding? If that's the case, I could get the large, and put in medium padding if breaks in too much.

Not sure about the shell sizing, but you can replace the pads with bigger or smaller ones. My helmet was really snug at first but is just a little looser now. I still have some pretty good pucker going on. If I were you I would probably go with the medium unless it is uncomfortable or you really don't like how close the chin part is.

Hmm, if I can replace the the pads with bigger ones, I think I'd be better off with the large, and changing the pads if I have to. From wearing the both of them, I get the feeling the medium isn't likely to loosen up as much as I'd like.
