Hi all,
I bought my 07 CBR600RR last August after years on Suzuki GSX-R SRADs (600 and 750). Even though I really enjoyed the SRADs I've always been a Honda fan.
This is how she looked like when I picked her up; Quite standard but with the Akrapovic slip-on, dark double bubble and brand new Pilot Power 3's.
The CBR was quite a revelation in terms of handling and rideability as I had the chance to go to our local track twice for some knee down fun, but I found the front end to be quite stiff and harsh, especially on the road so I decide to have to forks re-sprung for my weight during the winter. Also had the fork legs polished and new seals and bushing fitted while on it.
Some more mods when in during the wintertime;
Gilles Tooling Factor X rearsets (aluminium as the wife wouldn't notice the difference between the Gilles and the OEM :wink2: ), Gilles Tooling gear shaft support, 520 conversion: -1 front and +1 rear (15/42), Renthal grips, Zero Gravity double bubble, Stomp Grip, Chinese Ebay rear seat cowl, braided brake lines (HEL and BTR), HRC rear brake res delete kit with Tygon tubing, a SpeedoHealer and some stickers.
The next mods will be to fit my Supercorsa SP's and install the new Brembo brake pads whenever they arrive. Long term plans is to install a MJS midpipe, PC V, block off plates and a proper dyno run.
