This winter im doing some engine work on my 05 cbr600rr and i want to use wiseco 636 piston kit and upgrade the camshafts the only ones i can seem to find is made by webcams im wondering if there will be any clearance issues using this piston kit or one of the camshafts or perferably both together so if anyone has used either of both of these i would like to know if you had any clearance issues or any other issues and your input on if they are quality products or any other opinions on it thanks

the only thing I could think of since you are looking at two specific parts would be to call both producers of the products and ask the people who design them, they would most likely have a better idea of any issues unless you find that one person on here that has used both products which would be very unlikely... But either way best of luck to you and once you get started with this project document the hell out of it and keep us posted up to date, this sounds like one hell of a fun project!!

Ape race parts distributes both products which i just found out a few hours ago after countless hours of google searchs to find them ive sent an email asking them on the off chance someone else has had them do the machine work and install both they also sell and install valve train componets so i will probaly just send the head and block to them and have them work it out

Also this may seem like a stupid question but since i have only bulit car engines up with a high compression and know that higher octane fuel works better for it .but since i get mixed opinons when it comes to which is better for a 13:5 compression ratio for my 600rr does anyone know which octane works better for its detonation 91 or 93 throeticallly 93 should be better but ive heard people swear that 91 octane works better in the 600rr
