Better late then never. I had these mods done about 3 weeks ago but been lazy and haven't worked out all the bugs yet but since so many people are posting their work I might as well show off my bike as well. Tell me what you think.

All lighting retrofits and audi led installs are complement of the infamous Brian (HIGHVOLTAGE RR). Great guy, great service, and excellent quality products. He kept me informed every step of the way, the following are pics he took while doing my project. I'll take some installed pics and videos tonight.

Thanks to Tristan (Tripage) for all the great powder coating work, third eye and also helping with the signal wiring.

And also the other Brian (BrowningBuck) for the wonderful gauge.

Headlights arrived and Brian disassembled them and shot me pics of all the parts that arrived

I bought the thin LED ribbons from Oznium.com because they're more spread apart and low profile. I didn't like the huge rubber strip everyones been using. Taped off the LED's and painted them black

Brian noticed the LED's were 2 led's too long. Since these were wired up in series of 3 we can't just cut off the extra 2 so he came up with this

Led's lit up.

Brian started working on the Audi LED's first and got one side on with some 3m molding tape and also some filler due to the uneven surface of the housing. Due to the strip wanting to flex back to its original shape the left side snapped and the corner.

bought a new strip and sent it to him and he took care of the painting and soldering of the wires

Awesome!

That looks really well done.

Let us know how good the light is with the projectors.

Might have to get the projector retrofit....

The bulbs mount the same as stock ones, I presume?
Once u ride with these, you'll wonder how u ever did without them. I've been riding with them for about a week now and people still ask about them. Light output is awesome. I'm 100% positive nobody has them around town so it definately turns head. and yes the bulbs mount in the stock position. These aren't butcher to fit. They're professionally mounted so the back looks like stock.

WOW so amazing looking!!!! i wish i had those right now haha
get them done man. you wont regret it.

haha i would love to have the talent to claim these beauties but sad to say it's not me. run a search for him, im sure he'll be posting here soon once he gets back from vacation. these things are solid. no ratting, no noise, no ghetto wires (everythings insulated and loomed and taped up like factory). for the amount of work this guy did for me he should be charging double what i paid.:icon_lol: trust me everyone can afford these. if u can buy a 300 helmet, u can afford these

I've seen the same projectors on ebay, with and without the ballast kit (which I don't need). I'm wondering if my H7 bulbs will mount ok in the projectors, because they can be bought for about $150 and I know I can do the work. Regular H7 HID's, correct?

Also, I assume you have the angel eyes and LED's wired to seperate switches?

I love how the stock reflectors stay in the lights too. Other R6 projector mods I've seen look like crap with the reflectors pulled out. These look like they are meant to be there. Really really nice looking.

Don't forget those pics!

LEDs are wired to the signals n comes on when the bikes on. Halos go to the third eye. Still debating on putting in a switch since its blue n don't want sh*t from cops. N agree! These are are very tastefully done. Looks oem

I wish I had the talent and skill to do stuff like that

Looks great man...you'll definitely light up the nights now
Thanks man. They are bright!

damn thats pimp....now are they both going to have lo and high beams?
Yes both sides light up n both has hi/lo beams. Ok is wired to a switch n high works off the stock switch. There's a reflector inside which flips up when the hi is on to reflect some more light up

wait, so how do the switches work?

if you turn on the bike, the LEDs and third eye and low beam comes on?

and then if you use your blinkers, the LEDs blink with it?

then you have your stock high beam to switch both to high beam?

The way its wired right now when I turn on the bike only the third eye n LEDs come on. I turn on the lo whenever I want via a rocker switch. Then if I want hi beam I flip the stock hi beam switch. When I signal the LEDs blink. N yes bits both sides

F'n SICK!!!
thanks man

NEAT! I'll have to post pics of my "attempt" when it's done...
Can't wait man. Let's see em

Looks great man. I should be getting mine all finished up (finally!) this week sometime.

Just got the bike back from the dyno. now i can start putting everything back together.

I have to agree, Brian does excellent work, I could not be happier with my lights.

Can you get pics of how you routed all of your wires? just curious to see if its similar to how i did mine. haha.

Damn goodjob man, I would never have the balls to tear open my headlights.

#28 ·
good look, well done

looks really good man. I just wonder since the LEDs are the same color as the xenon if people will realize they are signals.

not to thread jack, but ajaygraci, the video in your signature is nuts.

with normal hids this mod would be almost useless when the lamps on. I say useless because if u wire ur low beams to a switch they can still function as running lights. But with the retrofits these are plenty visable. Its hard to tell from the camera n vid cause these things are really bright. But trust me its plenty visable. The projector lense helps concentrate the light so it doesnt scatter it within the housing glaring out the LEDs.
