I have a 2009 Metallic green/black bike and its so hard to match accessories/aftermarket parts to that green color.
Anyone that has this edition know of a good place to get parts that match it?
Not looking for anything specific, just parts/ideas.

Anyone know if Tripage decided to start powder coating in this color?

We are doing the orange first and then the green and will be followed possibly by white with pearl depending on the demand. Orange should be done by the end of the month.

I feel your pain. I have come to conclusion it's not going to match perfect as long as it's close. I just got d3 grips from motomummy they are pretty close. The pro grip RIM tape is a few shades off going to see what it looks like. If you find something let me know too.

Just anything really, Joeker. I got the rim tape from Tapeworks, matches perfectly. I also got some Ebay swingarm spools that are green and say RR in white, they are pretty close.
Im excited about Tripage doing the green powder-coating though.

And 09BrightGreenMetallic, you really think the Luimoto matches pretty well? I had them send me a sample of the green, and I didnt think it was close at all, maybe I got a bad sample. :(

yeah just email tape works and get them to make you two new ones.. you can make them slightly over sized also if you like, i went with same size.. went with the same color as my rim tape 6097.. the white ones that are on their are clear coated on, so if you remove them you will have the outline of them still on their but hardly noticeable with new ones fitted in its place.. went through a few of the old ladies blow dryers to get them off lol.. took a quick pick..

That looks good. So you took off the white decal and put the green in its place? did you clear coat over the green one once you got it on? Thinking about doing it myself (love the lowers by the way).

2wheels green adjusters on shorty levers
green Mfactory spools
Green spyder grips
tapeworks green metallic rim tape (perfect)
green display PZracing gear indicator
Luimoto seat cover
OEM solo cowl
Monster reservoir covers
hyper green tread paint (very few treads done, yes squid like)

Depending upon age and storage conditions, it's possible that original paint may have faded. Getting original colour may not match what's on bike now.

If you find that touch-up paint doesn't match, you'll want to find shop with spectrophotometer matching system. Basically camera that takes snapshot of panel. Then software analyses colour and spits out proper mix that matches exactly. Brand-new faded paint! :)
